lnb freq. would be the same.
The 9x8 switch uses diseqc 1 and 2, with 22khz on or off. You need to run 2 cables from each lnb to switch.

As far as I am concerned that switch you are using is the best switch ever for fta.
If you go to the EMP-Centauri site they have several different diagrams that will help you out.

Your receiver settings depends on how you wire the switch.

The 9x8 does not have inputs for ports 3 and 4. You have a choice of diseq 1, 22kz on and 22khz off; that covers 2 lnb's. Then diseqc 2, 22kz on and 22kz off; for another 2 lnb's. You need to run 2 cables from each lnb to the switch, total of 8 cables for 4 lnb's. There's also a terrestrial antenna input, if you use that you'll need a diplexer to seperate ant/sat before the receiver and tv.

You don't have to set transponders. When scanning the box will scan all transponders whether they are alive or not.
