One problem, the #1 port on the LNB is used by the power inserter, so you only have two ports for receivers, you can try the receiver port on the DC power inserter but I do not know if the receiver will handle it, it may have switching problems.

All you need to do is look at the DC current ratings on the receivers, if it is mark as 500 mA MAX then you will/can/could have problems.

Were the 3 Ilink receivers hooked to the dish 1000 LNB, or a different LNB?

Or are you upgrading to the dish 1000 LNB for the 129W satellite??

I need more info on the setup, is it a existing setup with a dish 1000? or is it an upgrade from another setup?

The DC power inserter does not power the receivers, it only powers the dish 1000 LNB, but if you need to run more then 2 receivers it will requier a DPP44 switch.

    Why??
Some but not all FTA recivers do not like the DC power inserter in-line between it and the LNB, problems with switching, and missing TP's can occur.

Thanks for the help terryl, so you ask if the set up is an existing set up. yes it is I have been using the dish 1000 for the 3 ilinks for about 2 years and it works fantastic. good signal. and I had it installed so eventually when i get a HD receiver I can use the 129 sat for HD channels. terryl so what you are saying is that I could use the DPP44 switch which is connected to the power supply. and when I did some research they say I could connect up to 4 receivers. can you check that and confirm. and let me know. I want to thank you for your time and your help.
