    Default need help sv 8000 with new wiz110

    hi need help,
    just got wiz110sr and convert to version 4.12 then load the latest file hd2028 file to the stb but when i turn on the stb there are no network setting.there are two lights on the wiz110sr green and yellow.do i need to change ip from wiz loader.

    Are you using the HD20-2028_nochk_2nd_chksum_2nd_try file in the link below? If not load it and see if you get the network settings in the menu:

    Yes Im using that file,but I'm gonna load it again to my box and I let you know if network setting show up after I load it thank you.

    If you see adapter connect then the network settings should be in the menu...I would not make any adjustments to the ip address etc. through the wizloader...could cause a brick issue with the wiz110sr. Any adjustments should be done through the network settings menu in the stb.

    What is your speed showing in wiznet in the serial tab?

    In wiznet make sure the dot is in dhcp then click settings to save then reboot receiver.Receiver should be set to dhcp also.

    hi thanks for the response yes i set to 115200 speed and set it to dhcp but the box still di not recognice the wiz110sr.do i need to load the 4.12bin again to wiz110?

    If you are at version 4.12 via wizloader then you shouldn't need to reload...2.JPG...been my experience once one of these wiz110sr's are converted it's just about impossible to reload a file version or even reload the factory file. How are you connecting the wiz110sr to the stb?

    i used 5 volt adapter to power up the wiz110sr and i used null adapter to connect wiz110sr to stb and hard wired to the modem.
    im going to change the null adaptor may the one im using is defective.thank you,i let you know thank you very much.
