Default DD-WRT DNS problem with Cisco 3825

I was setting up a DD-WRT Linksys router for him. It was mine. I had it running until the other day when I got my Jynxbox. The DD-WRT at my house was hooked through a Pace residential gateway.

At my friend's it was connected through a Cisco DP3825 but it couldn't resolve the hostname. So I had to program the servers.ini to the ip of the iks server not the hostname. Anyway to get it to work? Seems the DD-WRT or the Cisco are not resolving the hostname.

did you set the gateway and local DNS in the DD-WRT router to that of the Cisco? Start with the Gateway then the Local DNS but I think you need both.

Local IP's have to be different.

    cisco Local IP192.168.1.1
    ddwrt Local Ip 192.168.1.2

    DNS come from Cisco
