Leafs fans should buy them by the crate and get a discount.......cause McDavid there is no relief in sight for quite a while, 3-5 years if they draft and trade well....................but since when have they shown any ability to do either..

Yes my friend of course you are right.......but Leafs fans have to pick their fight with MLSE and be realistic about it. The seats at the ACC for Leafs games are pretty much sold out for the next 10 yrs and the old joke of "they could print tickets to Leafs practices and still sell them out" probably has a lot of truth to it.....so the point of staying home is unattainable. However all is not lost......Leafs fans can stop funding the Leafs by not buying their memorabilia, jerseys etc etc. The ACC`s concessions bring in a 6 figure take on every Leafs game...stop buying anything at the Leafs game. Lastly and this one I love, I posted (and got banned LOL) at TSN for suggesting that someone in Toronto rent a dumpster, park it in Maple Leafs Square and start filling it with Leafs memorabilia. My thought was that it would hit the Toronto media in about 3 seconds and would heap as much embarrassment on MLSE as they`ve caused us over the last umpteen years. More importantly the stockholders of MLSE would take note.........AND THAT`S THE ONLY ONES THAT CAN EFFECT CHANGE. Tanenbaum and MLSE`s interference in the Leafs is the main cause of the Leafs problems from who they hire, who they scout and who they play.
When a team is so bad for so long you look for a constant in the problem......coach after coach, GM after GM, player after player have gone thru the turnstyles..............Tanenbaum, MLSE and the old boys club in Toronto are the constant. Can`t fire them cause they make money hand over fist but the fans can cause them enough grief thru MLSE`s stockholders that they allow Shanahan and now Mark Hunter to do the job they were hired to do without their constant interference. It would be a start.
Further....The Toronto Sports media should be all but banned from anything Leafs....another unattainable. Mainly because all of them think they are on the cusp of a Pulitzer LOL with their constant bashing of Leafs players to the point of being insane. Small wonder coaches and players want to avoid Toronto like the plague. The Toronto Sports Media are nothing more than the bitches of Tanenbaum and MLSE who use the media to point fingers away from them and blame everyone and anyone else for the Leafs dismal record year after year.

Well they just fired Dave Nonis and Horachek....................I maintained elsewhere that Nonis was probably canned the second Carlyle got fired and that the Leafs would let him sit lame duck till season`s end. Horachek never had a chance, being interm on this disaster of a team he should be thrilled packing his bags out of town. Still....this even at this early date is more smoke and mirrors by MLSE on their fans because nothing has been done to better the Leafs....just more blame being pointed elsewhere. Unless I miss my guess look for Mark Hunter to be the next GM.............BTW.....how the hell does Dave Morrison( head of amateur scouting 10 yrs) still have a job????????
