Need some help....
hi guys
sonic view power supply went capot.....
so i had it replaced......but for some reason?????don't know i wasn't gettting any of the channels ....
so i did a factory reset .....
i reloaded the file for the receiver...
i have just replace the diseQc switch..........i have signal strength but no quality and the sats are NOT tuning
in??upper right hand corner ,,,,,,,,,,,,don't get it....
Its been some time since i have had to reload the receiver
Am i missing something????
the Sats should tune in without the ihub connected, right????
Any ideas..would be appreciated.

did you have channels after rescan or no channels at all. this may sound stupid but trust me i've done it. did you put the sat cable in the right spot don't feel dumb if you did i'm sure everybody in these forums has done something that made them go " oh ****"
what i would do is connect directly without any switch to see if you still get s and q and go from there. don't get rid of that box i'm sure somebody will buy it some of us have extra power supplies

Yes you should check direct sometimes you can get a bad switch. If still no go, check cable they can be damaged (loose)

friend its sound to me like your dish might have moved, you should try re-aligning your dish to the sats your watching, probably only needs a little tweaked, but first try bypassing the switch and connect the cable direct from the dish to the receiver to see if its the switch again...
