Well one thing to consider is ,, at the turn of the 19th century , the planets population was around 1 billion people.
by the year 2000, the population skyrocketed to near 8 billion.
In other words up until 1900, the stress on the planet's natural resources, mining, coal, water, trees, etc. was supplying
1 billion. In the last 100 years the stress on the planet multiplied 8 times. Of coarse the same is true for how the planet
    is handling human waste factor.

At the turn of the. century there wasn't one car on the road, one hundred years later there are 1 billion cars trucks heavy
equipment boats ships etc. burning fuel exhust into the atmosphere.

What is happening to the planets resources and what is happening to the planets environment as a result of the
populations explosion is something the planet has never experienced EVER in its history.

So for those who are saying the planet has experienced climate change in its history and has managed to balance itself
you are right ,,, but that was the past, with population numbers nearing 8 billion and climbing the same cannot be said.

1900, horse and carriage ,,, and no electricity,, no electrical grid ,, nothing had been invented yet you can plug in.
2015,, one billion cars polluting and 8 billion people eating and polluting ....

Do you really think the planet has seen this before and will bounce? ..... the planet and our grand children are in danger
    of infections and diseases.

This is why world leaders are assembling in talks over emissions and climate change. For those who think nothing is
happening and ALL this talk is money inspired ,,,,, you're wrong very very wrong.

Most are at ease because the excuse is the planet has seen climate change in the past ,,, but the planet has never seen
where we are and what we're dojng right now,,

It's not just us that's causing all the problems. remember that the sun has cycles. we are at "solar maximum" and that is one of a chain of cause and effect. we do need to take care of our world and prepare for when the sun goes into a solar minimum as we had in the 15th and 16th century.

actually climate change and global warming are two different things
teamed up they are causing the weird and wacky weather ..

    1) global warming is what the populace is causing with emissions and
tree elimination ,, trees are being cleared to make for new sub divisions
and then more trees are cut to build those same sub divisions ..

    2) climate change is caused by earth's natural phenomenas .. all of the
recorded climate changes of the past ,, moving tectonic plates , volcanoes
shifting of the weather belt ,, causing desserts were once was plush
vegetation and and seas where once were communities ..

An example of climate change happened in 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami
when the sea bed dropped the shift in trillions of gallons of water weight
caused a fraction of a shift at the north and south pole axis which resulted
in a change of weather belt pattern. today we see it's effects in uncharacteristic
weather where it snows where it didn't snow before and colder or hotter
than usual temperatures in other places.

natural phenomenas are not to be confused with global warming ...
global warming or the green house effect is strictly manmade through
high carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere ,, pollution from carbon monoxide
and of coarse the recession of the forest

sometimes people tend to find solace or comfort in climate change but ignore
the true culprit which is global warming.

Nope never said human activity is the only cause of global warming/Climate change.. But we are the most responsible for it.. Again I have a feeling most of us will get to see some of the upcoming catastrophes.. But our children will be the ones that get the full brunt of this.. If you go by what scientists say this "thingy" is irreversible at this point. Also feel for our animal life..

Look at my state... We are in deep chit....

Is CO2 a pollutant? Or is it naturally occurring?

It's something they put in coca Cola and mass produced... Lol....

    Plus.. C/P from "Condorpedia"

The environmental effects of carbon dioxide are of significant interest. Atmospheric carbon dioxide is the primary source of carbon in life on Earth and its concentration in Earth's pre-industrial atmosphere since late in the Precambrian eon was regulated by photosynthetic organisms. Carbon dioxide is an important greenhouse gas and burning of carbon-based fuels since the industrial revolution has rapidly increased its concentration in the atmosphere, leading to global warming. It is also a major source of ocean acidification since it dissolves in water to form carbonic acid.

So, It is a naturally occurring gas – just like oxygen. Who made CO2? Oxygen?

It used to be naturally occurring...Lol.. ......But you know was well as I do that no one will ever convince you... So I will just respond 1 more time with this little graph and a link for u..

    HTML Code:
    http://www.epa.gov/climatechange/ghgemissions/gases/co2.html
"The main human activity that emits CO2 is the combustion of fossil fuels (coal, natural gas, and oil) for energy and transportation, although certain industrial processes and land-use changes also emit CO2. The main sources of CO2 emissions in the United States are described below."
