    Default jynx v7 is noisy fan or dvd

    Hi. My jynxbox v7 is 3 months and VERYnoisy at start ups and continue sometimes during operation.
    This model has a FAN or DVD inside?. it sounds like my xbox dvd.

    You need to read the V6 & V7 fan upgrade I posted in this section, the fan on the V7 is glued to the case on the wrong side of
    the JB200, replace the fan & use the magnet trick to mount the new fan.

    i just removed mine on the v6 and its been running fine for months, leave it on all day too!

    Bad idea, if it didn't need a fan why would the factory spend the extra money to add it.

    First of all hi to iq180 i know i haven't been on for a while. Bought a version 10 did see it brought a bigger fan. Now just purchased a v10 plus and will see how that is, but for the gentleman who took out the fan in first place is in trouble. I agree with iq180 i had experinces where i have burned out receivers especially in this florida weather.

    ya you might be right, noticing some pixalation with certain channels at time, may invest in a laptop cooler because that fan was really loud.

    Read the V6 & V7 fan upgrade, it works on the V10 as well.

    If all else fails, try using the rubber shocks and insulation mats used in CPU fans. It might help.
