\More help please
I am in over my head on this one. I am having an issue with mini 25 second freezes on only one field. I have a PS with both north and south. I also have another south provider. I am running a HD V3. On any of the south servers I have no issues they run smoothly. When I try the north it will run about 30 seconds then freeze for 25 seconds and continue on like that, both 81 and 92. This has just happened over last few weeks with all the EDMs and my provider had server issues I just put it down as issues getting things settled. I have been in contact with my provider and he has been very supportive and offered suggestions. I have replaced my Powerline bridges, replaced the CAT5 cables, switched out the modem for a new one, tried hooking up the bridge to the wireless router, wireless for computers, phones, ipad working great. I have done full factory reset, dumped everything and reset, rescanned, reset modem, reset router. My provider says it is a networking problem on my end but I do not know what to do next, I am stumped. Hopefully someone may have some knowledge of networking to give me more things to check and I do not have the knowledge to understand how one service the north does this and not the south. Thanks to anyone who offers any suggestions.

sounds like some other computer between the server and your receiver causing the issue. you can ping the ip of the seerver to see where it is lagging but that will not fix it. If it is something along the data route there is nothing you can do other than get a different internet provider

I can't remember if there is a DNS setting in the server menu of this stb, but if there is, try another DNS. Maybe Google's DNS @ 8.8.8.8

Thank you gentlemen, Nostradamus the STB is wired direct from the router via the powerline bridge with nothing else on that line so I do not know where a computer could be. Chillywilly there is not DNS setting I can see when I check the server set up. Thanks again.

Have you tried turning off the south provider, re booted then checked if you have the same results?
If you are going to test, make sure you have nothing else running on your network.
