an old euro forum site once had an interesting thread on homemade dishes.I looked that up again for ideas.
One was that spray insulation foam in a can that gets hard sprayed on a big inflated balloon to get the shape for making a spherical dish. The guy used a 3 foot balloon but for practical use it would have to be much larger, like a weather balloon size.

But the best part of going back to c-band is the superior picture quality!

There site was scheduled to go online on March 1, still not up. Apparently almost all pvu channels from 121-135w have been opened.

Some great threads at that place! Some keys have been leaked and a bunch of coders are working on an FTA fix for PowerVu.

Really. Don't run out and have a 10 footer installed just yet unless you have another use for it if powervu doesn't go.

    Here is what I read
    C/P

Have coders made more progress on the powervu hack?

    Yes!

I have managed to brute-force some of the keys for cband powervu.
All this gibberish means to me is they don't know what they are talking about and have done nothing.
