    Default Scanning issues

    Just bought a T5 and before I bought all was working with my sonicview but wanted to change to T5. I can connect to provider no problem. When I scan for sats no channel appears, tried 82, 91, 110, 119 but still no channel.

    Example:
    110
    lnb power on
    lnb type single
    lnb frequency 11.250
    lnb 22Khz off
    diseqC 1,0 = 3
    diseqC sw 1.1 = off
    Legacy SW = off

    S = 73%
    Q = 0% to 20%
    Both bars are red

    Like I said on my sonicview all is fine but on the T5 no channels when scanning. Please help, what am I missing ?

    I do not own one but with Quality that low, it is either a connection issue, dish pointing issue, the DL100 HD board connection or software needs to be flashed and/or reloaded.

    You need to lock on to the Sat before you scan and get channels. Red means no lock.

    OK thanks for the reply teamwork000 I removed the DL100 HD and all started to work fine. Just bought that DL100. Is there a right way to sit it on the board cause it can sit either way. How can I tell if it is inserted the right way. Thanks in advance.

    OK I found that the arrow goes towards the back, I reinserted it the right way however when installed the box just flashes a bunch of 8's and when I remove it it works so I guess the DL100 is bad. I will have to buy a new one.

    UPDATE

    I disconnected the Dreamlink and removed the HD module let it sit for on table for a couple of days. When I got back to it, I reinserted the module and re-hook the Dreamlink and it booted up correctly and could scan 82 with no issues. Go figure.
