Has anyone tried direct tv switch with FTA receiver? Particularly interested in Spaun Satellite USA WBS 41202 NF Wideband MultiSwitch but not sure if it will work with FTA equipment.

If the switch is Diseqc 1.0, 1.1 or 2.0 compatible then it should work, but it also depends on the type of LNB(s) your going to use.
Some DTV switches are not compatible with some Dish LNB's.

It would only be good for 2 lnb's on a fta receiver. Uses 22khz tone on/off to switch between the 2 inputs.
Directv uses special lnb's to combine signals from 5 lnb's to the 2 inputs.
