    Default connections failed

    my old receiver (SV8000HD) died, I put the info in another (JynkboxHD) but connection Failed!!!

    You must have made a mistake when transferring information. Do it again and try refireing the jinx when finished. good luck

    how do you know if the nic-card is bad or you are connected to the internet from the local connections?

    Remove the card, completely uninstall and then reinstall it. Find the latest up-to-date drivers for the NIC card and install the drivers over top any drivers that are there. Try putting the card in another computer to see if it works there. Try a new NIC card in the original computer. The NIC card itself may be bad and if nothing works to fix it and a new card works in the computer, then the old card should probably be considered defective.

    I was talking about the Jynxbox not PC,
    I found my answer, changed the IP from DHCP to Static and I was able to ping it from my Laptop
    why the Jynxbox will not connect when the SV8K did before the power supply went bad?
