Default XBMC HUB is now TV ADDONS

Just when you thought your XBMC experience couldn't get any better than it already is, now it can! As you may have heard, XBMC is changing its name to Kodi, and we're no longer XBMC HUB, we're now TV ADDONS! Several years of steady growth and millions of users later, we've finally revamped our entire web site and support material in order to accomodate you better in the future. There's a new way to install addons, and more!

XBMC changed its name to Kodi because their growth potential was limited by the name due to the fact that they couldn't trademark it because it stood for Xbox Media Center, and the name had been heavily misused across the internet and was closely associated with piracy. In order to eliminate future confusion, they set a rule that unofficial fan sites (like ours) couldn't include the word Kodi in their site name, understandably.

We've redone the site from scratch, each and every guide was rewritten with the newbie in mind, we redesigned the whole approach to the use of addons for Kodi, making the setup so much simpler for everyone. It is highly suggested that you consider taking this opportunity to reinstall XBMC onto your devices from scratch, following the new procedures detailed at our web site, you want to stay ahead of the curb don't you?

It is our pleasure to conclude by thanking all those who have stuck by us over the years, and of course the Kodi Foundation. Everyone within our community works very hard to maintain add-on updates, our tools, and our web site. It's a group effort, and we do it out of love. Nothing makes us happier than hearing from those who enjoy our work, so if you want to make us happy come say hello more often and do your part to help spread the word so that your peers can experience Kodi too.

    Regards,

    TV ADDONS Staff

if i do the install, for my dreamlink hd, which i did, everything showed tvaddons from the tvmc link, however then i exited out, now it is back to xbmc hub, why would this be? do i have to continue on with install and configure? my dreamlink came preloaded, so never changed anything on it before.

Go to xbmc/kodi website, download the version for android you want to USB. Uninstall xbmc in settings and install new version from usb via file manager.

so what i did was incorrect, because i did not uninstall first (tvmc)? Then we proceed with install and configure?
