Default Dish 1000.1 + DP44 with Dish Pro LNBs = 110 Cannot see "H" Channels

    I dont have issue with 119, 129 and 118 - I switched around 3 Dish pro LNBs

This receiver doesn't have the power inserter, its with SV 8K

    My Settings

    11250
Dish SINGLE or OCS-DP - all give same result
    Diseqc 2

All H Channels are RED, with Signal and Quality

I understand that Dish Pro converts all H to L channels, is that true? any idea or help on this

The DP44 switch needs a power inserter, the SV 8K can not supply enough DC current to run all 3 LNB's and the DP44 switch at the same time.

Dish Pro technology uses a second band to get all the transponders down one coax at the same time, 950-1250 MHz for Odd transponders (12239), or “L”, “H” polarity, 1450-2150 MHz for Even transponders (12224), or “R”, “V” polarity

    Here is my setting

    1000.1 + Dp44

( All on DP PRO )

    Port 1 - 119
    Port 2 - 110
    Port 3 - 129
    Port 4 - 118

    Connection 1 > Power Insert > SV8k
    Connection 2 > Dreamlink
    Connection 3 > Dreamlinik

    All have

    119
    11250
    OCS-DP
    Diseqc 1

    110
    11250
    OCS-DP
    Diseqc 2

    129
    11250
    OCS-DP
    Diseqc 3

    118
    10750
    OCS-DP
    Diseqc 4

    110 is the only one which doesn't get H Channels, ( Changed 3 LNB's )

Only difference is the 110 is Dish Network DishPro Dual LNBF ( I assume this shouldn't matter since it can be used single or dual tuner )

So you have 2 LNB's that are the same except for the one for 110, if this is so then there could be a compatibility problem between the 2 LNB's used for 119 and 129 and a different one for 110, all 3 LNB's should be of the same type. (except for the one used for 118)

And the setup should go like this. (for the least possible problems)

Connection 1 > Power Inserter on it's own coax out to the switch.
    Connection 2 > SV8K
    Connection 3 > Dreamlinik
    Connection 4 > Dreamlinik

As some FTA receivers do not like the Dish DC power inserter in front of them

Tried Port 1 as Power ONLY and/or switched LNB's with 129 - 129 worked as b4 and 110 is the same

Yes this is strange, are all 3 receivers not picking up the "H" transponders, or just the one Dreamlink?

I just tried an iLink and it can scan the H channels, no problem so is this a s/w limitation?

Yup, looks like a software problem, if the two other receivers can pick up the "H" transponders then the others have a bug somewhere.

Try and eliminate the dp-44 switch u don't need it. Only need the power inserter on port #1 . Use the 4th connector on the western arc lnb with single dispro lnb + d500 dish for 118. Make sure you have strong signal on 119 your 110 could be off a bit. Also check your cables connects that can cause problems.
