    Default 9200 Board

Just wondering if anybody knows where I can find the turbo 8psk board for a Panny 9200? My unit has been lying around for quite some time and it's equipped with an s2/8psk module for true fta hd.

Ebay maybe. I never thought the modules were cost effective when you can buy a whole new box for the cost of them.

If the sonicview was compatable you can use a 6000 dish receiver and pull the hd module out of it and it will fit for you I have used one for years now works fine .........food for thought you can get the old 6000 receivers for about 20 bucks.....

The VS Board does not fit in a 9200. It would require a different connector plus an add on board. I have tried.

    good morning all,
I have seem to have lost the ability to Diseqc & command a motorized 36" dish. I replaced the diseqc and the motor only to determine the problem is def in the receiver. Unit still shows a great picture, but the the ability to control the outdoor equipment is totally gone.........ANYONE have any idea or experience with that type of failure (Pansat 9200HD with oem DVB-S2 board) ?

I would be happy to entertain reasonable sell offers for a functional identical unit.....

I have had a similar box problem in the past but without schematics it is hard to track such a problem down. Most likely a diode or transistor that feeds the diseqc signal to the output had been blown, so if one could track the 22kHz signal to one side of the device and then not see it on the other, then you would have the issue found. But then it would require finding a replacement part and getting on the main board. 22kHz might actually be seen by audio board, so you could use PC to try to trouble shoot if you don't have a better testing tool like oscilliscope.

I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron, but only down to a managable size - other than that and without high-end testing tools, I'll just keep replacing it when I hit these bumps in the road. I suppose once the used market of all the 9200HD's dries up I'll change brands.
but for now, I can't find an equiv. FTA receiver that can do all the Pansat does for under $150 :
HDMI & Optical audio out, SD/HD-Terrestial, Disecq & Legacy controls, Progr.Record, UHF remote control, maybe I don't get out much, but I'm quite pleased with this model....now on my 3rd box (thx Costactc).
