    Default Ilink Receiver choice

    hey guys,

my ilink 9000p died, i cant find a direct replacement for it, i only see what seems to be the IR210 which was actually an older model before the 9000P, is the IR210 the direct replacement for it now these days?

i see it on amazon for 83 bucks is that even right?

better buy a blanket for the 210...if you read the forum you will see countless posts complaining about it freezing.

If your ilink died and the other you are interested in freezes a lot, why wouldn't you look to a different brand that is a little more stable?. Just thinking out loud.

mafioso, the best one is the Dreamlink T5 (DN, BEV when available). But if you still looking for a low budget receiver then get that I-link ir210. I have one working good here at home. I had the freezing mentioned by Hedley this last few weeks so i decided to change the bin (had 2.84 working good for the last few years till now) and now is working fine. If you end up buying it, do a factory default, then install the "New i-link ir210 patch" from the files section, then factory default again, set up your sats, preferences, network and server. You'll be good to go.
