Look for CB2008A LNB. This LNB will get you both 118/119 on a freq of 10750

Yes, go get a small piece of 1/8" thick polycarbonate clear plastic, cut it to fit the size of the LNB's eye, a little dab of gelled super glue in 3 or 4 places on the outside of the piece will hold it in place.

Another solution is a small plastic coke bottle or other clear beverage container that will fit over the LNB's eye.

The cover cracking on the LNB is due to the Sun, UV rays are causing it to break down, a better quality LNB will stop this.

    Dish makes one for 119/118.

You can glue a new piece of plexy or poly to the old one, but who knows if water got into it.

Well yes, a good one, one that wont break down over time, I use the clear plastic coke bottles, they don't break down, find one with a smooth bottom, or just cut out a piece to fit over the lens.

As long as the LNB is still working that is.

I had wood peckers popping holes in my LNB's, I used the polycarb trick and they now bend their little beaks.

Be sure not to use plastics with floride or chloride--stuff like teflon or PVC. Pure hydrocarbon based plastics are fine--polyethyline (like top of oatmeal box or garbage bag), PETE (coke bottle) are fine. The stuff with FL or CL act as dielectric and convert circular pol into linear.
