    Question Pixilation on Newer T5

Good signal and quality, but there is pixilation every now and then on some HD. Read about the issue on the first hd add on boards and how to fix it by removing a piece of the plastic around the pins, but the HD board I have is second generation. It"s the new one. Is this common, and is there a fix? Not complaining, just a new box and trying to get used to it.

    Thanks.

Do you have the heat sink on securely on top of the HD board?

How hot or warm is the unit getting?......warm is o.k, a little hot is not.

Did you install the latest bins? I know that the very first bins did cause pixilation's, make sure that the module is sitting snug.

Thanks. I will double check these possible issues. Do you think a little thermal paste on top of the chip would hurt? It's a rubber heat sink though.

I wouldn't paste anything on the module but you can put a rubber silicon to cool it down, works great. I personally don't have anything on it and its working fine since the T5 where released.
