    Angry I think i messed up my new receiver ilink 9800 hd se please help!!!!!!!!!!!

    I just received my receiver and attempted to put in the file with a usb and i put it in the main instead of all code+boot_code section now my remote does not work is there a master reset i can do or is this receiver a door stop someone please help and guide me thank you

    Same problem today. Remote not working and buttons on receiver reversed. Unable to update because I cannot select OK.

    You have 2 choices. First , load the factory file using the RS232 loader, a null cable and an old PC with COM port. Second see if there is a Internet Update and try to load the file via internet. That should bring back to factory your box. You can later load latest files.

    Do a factory rest thn hard boot then load it with the file tht Chevy suggest in the file section follow his instructions and you shld be back up and running......

    Ok, so I went to Radio Shack to purchased a Gigaware Null Modem and a RS-232 cable. Using the software loader on this site, it worked.
