Also the heat inside a house, some are cool and others are very hot.

I definitely am running a longer coax and have a few connections in between a 150ft run causing the heatup. Most likely the problem of having to use a fan.

First thing, do your self and your receiver a favor, buy a 300 foot run of cable, cut it in 1/2 so you have 2 150 runs of cable then buy
a power inserter or an old DN receiver to power the LNB.

Have you tried recording SD content? I've not been able to record Sd without problems on version 1-3 and 4.

The first thing I see that I don't like is that it has an internal power supply, so if it needs more amps it will be hard to
    fix.
The next thing is it has no fan but there is room to add one if needed.
I do like the remote, it has large buttons, the most used buttons are glow in the dark.
I will post more in a day or two after testing.

Try recording SD channels but with the DVB-S2 module and you'll be surprised how flawles is the recordings without the JB200. TurboPirate

How do the remote buttons feel? The V5 remote buttons was so firm, you need some force to press them.

I've read that there is a port for composite out (RCA), but the specs also said that this box can also do component out? Any confirmation one way or the other?

One more thing about this box, the manufacturer built two versions, one without fan and another with a built in fan. Those with the word Ultra HD V6 in white have a fan, the ones with a blue V6 don't have a fan.

unless the jb200+ runs cooler -
would prefer white label with the fan ,
but only see blue label offered so far
