I don't know if this is relevant to what I am experiencing, but I know a while back I would get a good signal with TP 12224 to see anything on 110W, but for a while we would have to check a little higher TPs to get the satellite connection. The bolts and screws are tight for the satellite dish, so we didn't think it would have moved. I guess I need tot invest in a compass to confirm? We've tried moving the satellite slightly but nothing seems to change.

get a signal meter and peek the dish to the best signal you can get they are not expensive and easy to use. just peek for the strongest signal on meter

If it is the switch, If I were to get on ebay 3-WAY COAX SPLITTER HOLLAND HFS-3D 5-2150Mhz DISH NETWORK , it should work yes?

or the 4x1 CHIETA DISEqC 2.0 SWITCH COMPATIBLE WITH: Dish Network, FTA, BELL, DIRECTV

The switch we have is the original switch when we got the original dish and dish pro lnb. We tested the other ports on the switch with the fta lnb, and we get reception. Does that mean the switch is fine then, and it should be working with the new dish network lnb i have?

Coax splitters will not work on satellite systems.

And as I said before some switches will not work good with the NEW type DP twin LNB's.....The Chieta Diseqc 2.0 switch should work OK with that type of LNB, and with the LNB for your second dish.

But be careful when you swap out the switch, be sure to get the 119 port (first port on the left looking at the front of the new DP LNB) connected to the #1 port of the switch, and the 110 port on the DP LNB to the #2 port on the switch.(your other LNB can go to the #3 port on the switch)

And both 119 and 110 LNB type settings on your receiver need to be set to OCS-DP ot it will not work.

I got the chieta switch installed. No quality. Signal is at 30% at lnb frequency at 11250 but goes to 60% at frequency 11000. Anyone knows what that means?

I have my settings for 110 with lnb power on, lnb type ocs-dp, 22khz off, tp freq 12224, port 2, motor off, legacy sw none

I am still waiting on the signal meter

The lnb in the third picture is a legacy, not a DP.

Not with only 2 "F" connector outputs it's not, a DP twin legacy would have 4 outputs, 119W 13 volts and 18 volts, 110W 13 volts and 18 volts, for 4 outputs.

Legacy equals the old style +13 volts and + 18 volts switching for the transponders, this on some of the older LNB's required 2 outputs per satellite.

Some of the NON dish standard LNB's still need the +13 and +18 volts but can use 1 output.
