take off the tuner if u box turn on change the jb 200 or repair the jb

Took out the jb200 and still no power. So I ordered a 250v 2A fuse, and am waiting on that now

Did you test the fuse to see if it is bad or not.

I got my electrician to take a look at the receiver and he said the fuse and rocker switch should be okay, and that it is something else in the receiver but he's not sure what. Just out of curiosity, does anyone have any ideas on what else it could be?

Hi Uppadharmai, You might be having problems with the boot loader. I would try to re flash your box using the original bin and the all chunks mode with the software loader. You will need a computer with a serial port or usb to serial port and a straight through cable. You will know pretty quick if your box can talk to your computer. Give it a shot!

On the back of your receiver there is a black plug marked SPDF, pull the plug out and look in with the power on, you should see a
blinking red light, if you do then your switch and fuse are good and you should be able to reflash it with the loader & loader cable.

The box may appear to be off but still have power to the logic board. Try IQ180 suggestion to see if the motherboard is powered up. I would try to use the loader program even if I saw no signs of life.

I plug the receiver cord in the wall, turned the switch on back of receiver to on and looked at SPDF spot but not red light whatsoever. So there is no power it looks like. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

It could be something simple but with out being able to put our hands on your box.... we are just guessing. You can take it to a repair shop and have them diagnose the problem or you can cut your losses and sell your box for parts only on fleabay. With the money you save you can buy a working receiver. A jynxbox ultra lite with jb200 can be purchased for $150 or so.
