Default Dreamlink HD not connecting to Server(Server Can't Connect Message)

I have Dreamlink HD. Once server setup information has been entered, verify and saved, when I press okay button to connect to server with Hardwired to my Modem and router , I am getting the message server can't connect. When I unplug the Ethernet cable from my router it says server connected. Receiver has Factory File 106 and Bin 119. Satellite 110 & 119 have been correctly set. Connection is: Receiver to router to modem.

I made all kind of testing (direct connection from modem to unit), etc and still the situation.

There is nothing wrong with the receiver set up (bin, server setup (codes, etc), satellite) since the unit s it is was connected to other internet provider and it works perfect. The situation is when we connect to this other internet provider. We check with the internet provider and there is no restrictions. There was one time that it connect, then disconnected and since then it does not want to connect.

My biggest doubt is why, when I unplug the internet cable, the receiver displays server connected (which is not true).

Need your help and recommendation o solve this strange behavior.

    Thank you

Try your server on a different receiver to see if your server is ok first. Which server are you using?

Hi Patriot, the server is ok, I tested other receiver with the same server which are working excellent under internet provider A. When connecting any receiver to this interner provider B, none of the receiver connects.

Hi, after long hours of troubleshooting, problem was resolved. Server Pasword was reset and a new password was assigned. Server connected. Thank you for your help.

Just an FYI when the receiver said server connected when you plugged in the cable it was saying it seen your network (modem/router) not necessarily the PS
