you have any idea what file is on there now? re-reading thread it looks like you have factory on there at this point. So just load 237 using the loader and then see what happens. Not going to hurt anything at this point and if that doesn't fix it then just reload the factory and back to the dealer for warranty

ok so at the moment i have a factory file on the machine, i tried to put the 237 bin on the machine aswell as others and this little pop up box comes up on the cpu screen (SELECT A FILE LARGER THAN SLAVE, CHUNK SIZE 0X00120000)
Ive tried other files but get the same message on them, is there away i can take the factory file off the machine?, below is the following steps i used to update
1) hooked jynxbox to cpu
2) started loader and hit connect button on loader and turned on box
3) connects fine and gives a list of options (ie hardware, backgrounds, firmware)
4) i select firmware and select factory file(north american), and it loads and flashes
5) i hit restart on loader
6) plug in to tv ,no picture, is stuck on (ON) tried aspect button with no success
7) tried HDMI, A/V and the componenet cable no success
HELP ME PLEASE!!!!! its driving me bonkers!!!
still no luck on this , does anyone have any ideas at all
Try to do the update through the front USB port after you unzip the bin to a USB drive.
how can i if i cannot see anything
It sounds like you have the factory file loaded, if this is the case the aspect button will not work..
Follow these directions to restore your picture.

I just wanted to report an issue with default settings of the factory file that may affect some people if they do not have a 1080p television set.
The default settings are 1080_25. I’m not familiar with this form of video grading, in North America we only have two grades of 1080 that I'm aware of (1080i and 1080p). If someone has a 720i 720p or even a 1080i TV you may to have to dumb down the resolution settings to accommodate your television set.
If this happens to be you, you will get a rolling screen and you will not be able see where to navigate through the menu.
Try connecting with the RCA cable first. If this does not work on your specific TV try another TV if that’s an option. If it’s not an option or you have no other options here are the directions so you can blindly navigate with your remote.
These directions will take you to 480i this should cover every television out there. You can experiment with higher resolutions after you have read that actual specifications of your television set.
To be safe allow one second before hitting the next button.
When the box boots up you will have access to the menu already: (out of the box there are no channels scanned so you are already at the main menu)
Reboot the box to ensure you are at the starting point
Hit the directional arrow down two times{down down} This will take you to the systems tab
Then hit Right
Down
Then hit ok two times OK OK to enter your resolution settings
Hit the directional up button 2 times for the lowest grade of 720p or 6 times for 480i
I recommend hitting the up button 6 times for 480i to guarantee a picture first
UP UP UP UP UP UP
OK
I have highlighted in bold the actual directions you can ignore the descriptions and just follow the bold and it should work.
Do not factory default or you will have to do it again.
Any third party file and you will be good to go.
I tried the above advice and thankyou for posting it but i still have nothing it is like there is nothing plugged into the tv at all and all connections are good to the tv so i dont get it
