    Default New Bell dish

    Hi folks

I just ordered a Dreamlink HD so in the process of catching the 82 bird in Nova Scotia. Currently I have a older bell 18" pointed at 91 and getting good signals in the 80's. I am trying to set up a newer bell skewable 20" to pick up both birds but can't seem to get my 91 any better then a 60. No matter what I do the 91 signal is about 20% lower on the newer 20" then on the older 18". Is this normal, I do realize that although the 20" dish is bigger I am picking up 2 sats so perhaps the the lower signals are normal. Would it be better signal wise to use 2 18" dishes pointed directly at the sats. Thanks for any info

That shouldn't be necessary. You should be hitting at least 80% signal quality on both dishes for 91 and 82. A bit of fine tuning will be necessary.

    ok Thanks guys

I will try some more tuning and if no better I will just put up another 18". There is a small dent on the dish opposite side from the 91lnb so maybe that the problem. I am getting a 80 signal on 82. Just the 91 that is low. Thats for the info
