Can I switch each LNB with a 4x3 and then run to four 4X1 switches to four STB. Grounding each line to STB and all switches. Ive seen drawings with 3 STB and wonder if this will work on four. Thanks

You can use a 3x4 on each LNB but it would be cheaper to just use 2 4x4's, and with the 4x4's you would have the option of using 4 diseqc switches or 4 SW-21's........

Maverick's suggestion would be best scenario..but keep in mind if any are bev subbed boxes and not fta receivers you will need to place the bev lnbs on the "OFF" side of each 4x4 and then only SW21s could be used in conjuction with the 4x4s as the diseqcs would not work for the subs

I fully agree with your response with regards to using the 4x4 switches but in the pic the switches are labeled as SW-44s. As you are well aware SW-44s will not work with many FTA units while 4x4 switches will. Perhaps you could edit the pic to eliminate the possibility of confusion or grief to members who do not know the difference between the switches.

Look again my friend, it is not labled SW-44, it is labled SW4X4.
