I would think if the power supply is powering the fan then the supply is good ? Did you try booting it from the rear power button ? If that dose'nt work you could also try force flashing the box with the serial loader.

It's a power supply or cap issue....
Seen this a hundred times.

The fan is powered by the 5V pin on the rail and will still spin up with a bad power supply.
The Caps failure are in the 3.3V pin on the rail.
His problem is 99.5% sure to be C10 and or C24 cap on the 3.3V side of the power supply.

Thanks for all responses,
I was looking for these capacitor online and found these:
1) CAPACITOR 16V 470UFD RADIAL ELECTROLYTIC Radial Electrolytic Capacitors, Capacitance: 470 uF, Voltage: 16 V
2) 1000uf 25v Capacitor 105c High Temp, Radial Leads
3) 2200uf 25v Capacitor 105c High Temp, Radial Leads

Not sure which fits which. Any suggestion?

1000uf 25V will work. 1000uf is important but you can use V of 16-25V with no problem.

Remember to install with correct polarity + and -
