Hey,

I had been tuning to WSBK (296) to populate the epg for bev, but that stopped working a couple of nights ago. Can anyone recommend a different channel to populate the epg on bev, or is anybody else having success using WSBK?

I read some other older posts and tried the channels mentioned there, and I had no success. So, if someone is using a particular channel to populate the bev epg, I would appreciate knowing the specific channel that they are using.

Thanks...

Thanks for the replies, but 218 didn't work for me. Put in on 218 and then put it in standby mode all night - didn't populate. So, I turned it on 218 in regular mode for about an hour this morning. Again, it didn't work. So, it appears to be some sort of issue with my receiver.

Up until 2 nights ago, the epg worked perfectly; i just had to put it on 296 (wsbk) and it would populate the guide after a minute or so. I didn't change any of the menu settings. The only thing I did was watch a couple of hours of CBC on the antenna tuner rather than the satellite. Now the epg populates just that ota channel, i've just noticed. Any idea how i might get this back to populating the satellite rather that the over the air channels?

If all else fails, load the system clean file a couple of times, the factory bin and then the current file again.
See if it helps.

Good luck,

It looks like the EPG update TP has switched from 12311 to 12428 (where it was years ago). Use channel 199 - NTV for quick EPG loading (or any other station on TP 12428). Some others (according to Lyngsat) are: 202, 225, 228, 230, 389, 528, 529, 578.

Works for me!

Ya that was a mistake post that's with the nfusion but I have now found most receivers are not giving the seven day epg up date for bev

Ya, this is sv8000 discussion. it will populate the epg up to 9 days on dish but i haven't had bev for so long, i don't remember how much it did the epg there.

In a different post bev changed somthing........so most bin files need to be updated to correct it but no one fixes the bins anymore

Never tested an nfusion but all my receivers...sv, vs, cw, cs, populated the epg on bev really good right up to when the footprint was changed which supposedly stopped me from getting reception so i immediately aimed in on 72.7, but i need to put one of my dishes back on bev to see for sure. my server supports it but i stopped "donating" to bev.
