friend do you have the 8spk module for your hd channels,and also your going to need the ihub and then download the latest svlan file and then your going to need to buy a code from a private server to connect too,to watch tv,good luck friend....

How long has it been since you last used it, you're going to have to be a bit more specific. What kind of peripherals do you have, ie hub, or hd card.

it's worth while to get it going again, it's my favorite receiver....also , someone correct me if wrong but I think there's even a program you can run on your pc that takes the place of the ihub....if so you'd still need a serial cable between the pc and your sv

Its an emulator that was released a few months ago.
It was on that famous auction site for $50.00 the last time I saw it.
It runs on the Rq-ssp protocol and is said to work well.

I'd like to see the technical specs on the protocol for the i-Hub emulator. I have a feeling there are some other neat futures that can be done talking to the 8000 via serial I/O.

The emulator works on the Rq-ssp protocol (from what I've seen) but i have not run the program myself.
You can get the program here on the site I'm sure and dissect away.
