The SVHD8000 would show the 2 motherboard lights the front display would also show "Booting" but never move past this stage.
I was able to link this condition to a faulty power supply. After rebuilding the power supply the unit functioned properly.
The booting went full cycle and the unit booted to the channel.
The PSU itself did not show any signs of component failure but the meter revealed that the voltage rails were not to spec. The 5V rail was almost non existent and the 3.3V and 12V also measured very low on the initial PSU.
This unit when messed up almost always ends up to be a Power Supply issue when you have exhausted all other fixes.
Hopefully this will help someone else.:tape:

Go to the Sonicview website and send them a message on the support side for a new PSU. They responded to me with a quote and you can send the money if you want them to send you a new one.

How long ago did you do this? They are out of business.

I dealt with them a few years ago but now I wouldn't be surprised if DN wasn't answering their emails.

There is nothing illegal about owning an fta box or having repairs done to it.
DN has nothing to do with SV.
Not to worry.

Good luck,
